who is aly espinoza?

I’m Alyssa, a social entrepreneur, creative director, and branding & marketing strategist with a deep love for storytelling, travel, and making a positive impact.

I’ve spent my life blending my passions with my work. From rescuing street dogs and slow traveling the world, to building brands that reflect my commitment to authenticity and sustainability, everything I do is soul-driven. My experiences living and working in places like the Amazon Rainforest, South Korea, and Ethiopia have shaped not just my career but my worldview.

I am the founder of Hiptipico, an ethical brand born from my time in Guatemala, which has been featured globally. My work has been recognized by brands like Corona, and my hospitality clients have garnered significant media attention. But beyond the accolades, it’s the personal connections and stories that drive me—like supporting girls’ education in Africa during a recent project in Mozambique.

Whether it’s leading creative projects, forming strategic partnerships, or simply telling a story that needs to be heard, I bring all of who I am into everything that I do.

Every choice I make is guided by deep intuition and a heightened understanding of the human experience. My journey—spanning from luxury stays in Dubai to immersive research in the Galapagos—has taught me the undeniable power of storytelling rooted in real-life moments. Working closely with non-profits and underserved communities has shaped my approach to creating narratives that are both ethical and profoundly impactful.

I believe in stories that resonate on a soul level. From sourcing textiles in the vibrant markets of Mexico to getting an underground tattoo in Cairo, I’ve immersed myself in cultures and experiences that have expanded my mind and sharpened my vision.

Hiptipico, my brand, is a reflection of this journey—recognized globally from St. Tropez to Tokyo, and featured in Free People stores across the US and ASOS in the EU. This success didn’t come by chance; it’s the result of a brand I meticulously created, designed, developed, and executed, all while leading a team of 15 women and hundreds of artisan partners.
